Shakes or Wobbles problem
2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When i am accelerating or just maintaining speed my car has a shimmy. It is not in the steering wheel but the car as a whole. However when I am off the gas pedal and letting the car coast it stops shimmying immediatly. I have replaced both front wheel bearings and all four tires already and it has not helped at all.

Since the problem is happening only under load, then that says the drivetrain is the likley source. Check the axle boots for any tears that have allowed the grease to spin out. However an axle joint can fail regardless.

Sometimes a shimmy can be confused with a misfire with some of my customers. I assume you have eliminated that.

a shimmy/shake that worsens with acceleration is almost always an inner axle CV joint.
