I have a 2002 grand am and I was driving the other day and my clutch felt like it went out. The pedal was stuck to the floor. It was driving fine before this happened. My RPM's were not racing or anything. What are the chances it is just the master cylinder?

Very good. Or something else in the hydraulic clutch system. Check your fluid level first. Maybe you just have a leak.

I've done that. The fluid was fine. Is there a way to know whether it is the master without replacing it?

Have you looked at slave to see if it is working? If not, and fluid level is fine, you could try bleeding system and if that dont work just replace master.

Also check that clutch pedal is still connected to master.
