after changing the fuel filter, (original, I think) gas is dripping 5 drips per minute. The nut on the fuel line was frozen... rusted... any suggestions how to fix it? Thanks Mike. The snap on part does not leak

There should be an O ring on the line that may need to be replaced.

Yep when the rust on it can be difficult to get it loose, I would use a line wrench here is a video to help you fix it, also spray the fitting with WD40 overnight.
