My 2002 bonneville starts and runs fine but sometimes while driving all instrument panel lights and gauges come on like when you turn the ignition key to the "on" position. The car continues to run fine. Also the gas mileage information center re-sets back to zero and then starts displaying mileage info as it should. The "eye" on the battery is green indicating it is good but i don't know old it is as I have the car just 1 year. Any ideas?

As a point of interest, that green eye in the battery only tests that one cell. Any of the other five could be dead. When the eye is green, that means the battery is charged enough for testing, not that it is good.
