car over heating

the car only over heats when it is stationary and i loose hot air out off the heater so i changed the thermostat but the problem still there it dosent loose any water. when the car overheats i rev the engine up and the temp drops again

it could be a clogged radiator. a shop can take temp readings on the rad to get an idea if this is the issue.

does the rad fan work ok??
