2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette Air Conditioning blows the A/C CLU fuse after running and blowing cold air for about 10 minutes. Fan motors all work, all positions on the fan speed switch work exceept the slowest speed. Removed and inspected blower fan as I thought that it might be siezing up. All good there. The CLU relay, #13 is running hot.
Thanks,

That is the a/c clutch you may have a problem of the clutch has gone bad or is siezing or the freon/oil level may be low. This shouldhave a set of gauges hooked up to it and it might need a new clutch

Good Afternoon,
The A/C blows cold until the fuse blows. I only have a set of old R11 gauges, so I can't give you low and high pressure since this is R134. What would a normal draw on a good clutch magnet be?

Thanks,
Juris

I have never checked them for draw, they can be set to close to cause this normally I would think half the fuse rating.I usually check for theproper clearance and see if it looks burnt up which they normally do and replace it. Alot of places nowadays sell the complete assembly, compressor and clutch.
