2002 Oldsmobile Bravada Stuck in Reverse

Car started, had difficulty depressing shift button, placed into reverse and then could not shift to drive or other position. Car will not start, although all electrical features work.

your cable to trans may be broken so have an assistant help while under car or it's a shift lock problem. see pics for shift lock
