gauge cluster does not work

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero my gauge cluster does not work all the time, my turn signal does not work all the time, and my a/c does not work. Replaced the tumbler to see if that would fix. no go. My mech said it could be the ignition switch

If I would replace the ignition switch could that solve the problem.

I don't think the switch will fix it. Check for weak or loose body grounds and check to make sure the wiring is tight to the cluster under the dash. If all is good, you may need to have the body control module (BCM) checked.
