Sorry. GM had a 100 percent failure rate on their cd mechanisms in that time period. To lock up all the repairs for their two grossly overpriced repair centers, they stopped selling us radio service manuals and parts after the '94 model year. Many people bought high-quality aftermarket replacement radios, then, starting with some 2002 models, to counter that, GM started building the Body Computer into the radio so it had to remain in the vehicle for all the other computers to work. The Body Computer is the master computer that tells all the others when to turn on. None of these tricks benefits the owner. They are designed to make GM money after the sale. You can expect to pay around $450.00 with dealer removal, shipping two ways, repair, reinstallation, and reprogramming to your car. You might still have the older style that can be replaced with a normal radio / cd player and wiring adapter harness.
