I had someone change my brakes and now they do not work at all. They said there was a lot of air in the lines. How can I fix this so I have brakes again?

They never should have opened the system. As far as air, you need to bleed the brakes. Start at the wheel furthest away from the master cylinder and work you way to the closest.
