2002 Nissan Sentra vacuum issues

engine high idles, and sounds like slight vacuum leak near back of engine compartment, found a line plugged with a screw coming off passenger side of engine, between valve cover and intake, but when I removed screw it wasn't my leak, cannot find where hose is supposed to go

If the hose is between the valve cover and intake, it sounds like the PCV hose. How large is the hose?
