2002 Nissan Primera Recently Had Reconditioned Starter Fitted Now Further

Recently had a reconditioned starter fitted and have now have further problems.When trying to start the car it makes a whirring sound on occasion or other times starts right up,a friend of mine suggested a flywheel problem,could this be the case or was the starter refitted incorrectly?

Maybe a flywheel problem if that was happening with other starter most likely faulty bendix in reman
