When it could not be started, check what is missing. Ensure sparks are bright blue.

It could be a fault with the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor if it only has a problem when engine has warmed up.

Get a scan done to check for trouble codes.

NO trouble codes
Got the car to start but, dies when I press the trottle.
Tried to start again but cranks over for a long time to then starts up.

Have the fuel pressure tested. Try some starting fluids. If spark plugs are sooty, it could be due to flooding and can be due to a faulty ECT.

The other possible cause would be a bad MAF or vacuum leaks between MAF and throttle body.

Check the sparks. Ensure they are bright blue, or can at least jump 1/2 inch during testing.

Ignition coils can work well while cold and fail when heated up.
