Replacing the interlock switch

On a 2002 pathfinder, where is the interlock switch(or switch allowing the transmission to leave park) located and how does one go about replacing it? Is it going to be located under the dash or underneath the automatic shifter?

I have the same issue. 2002 Pathfinder, won't shift out of park. Brake Light Switch? Interlock? I depress the brake pedal several times before it finally goes into either reverse or drive.
