Fuel pump?

My car will not start. It has gas and all the electric work. When I try to start it, it makes a similar noise as if it were out of gas.

first thing to do is check fuel pressure and spark, listen very closely while you turn your ignition to the "on" position to see if you can hear the fuel pump turn on. if not, you will need to check the fuel pump relay first before replacing the pump itself
