My car produces a lot of white smoke when taking off. However, the smoke clears after driving for about 100 meters.

is this after each start up or is it ok when the engine is warm?

Go get a head check done, this is a simple and quick check for Co in the cooling system, as the white smoke can be a sign of coolant being burnt, you may have a small internal coolant leak, start here.
