When I start off in first gear there is very little acceleration and then the power kicks in as normal. Then I change to second and its the same. There is just high revs with no power (acceleration) and then the acceleration kicks in a short while after changing into second gear. It is the same in third gear but fine in fourth and fifth. What could the problem be?

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. Check fluid level if hydraulic and see if there is an adjustment to it. It can also be something bent or clutch is bad, so have a local mechanic check it.

I have changed the trottle body, the air flow sensor and the idle air flow meter. This has not fixed the problem. Any idea what else could it be. Only changed the idle air flow meter today. Drove it for a while and it seemed fine but when I went to drive it again it revved up again.

If it started since you got the plugs, check to make sure the plug wires are on the correct plugs and the coil wire is in good condition. If they are, you need to check the plugs to make sure they are gaped properly and all working.

So after the new throttle body you're still having idle fluctuations? Have you scanned it for codes? Checked and cleaned the idle control valve? Checked for vacuum leaks?

Check compression. Check timing. There could be soft codes that don't cause a CEL to be set.

In continuation of my previous question. I had to replace the "sensor camshaft position" because it brake and since then I started noticing the priorly reffered problem of RPM break. I also replaced the ignition coil, the distributor cap andthe rotor.

You should be replying to your previous post instead of posting a new question as we need to have the history of what had transpired to understand the situation.
