When you are driving all over sudden the neutral light starts to flash on the dashboard and the vehicle sound changes immediately also there is a shift.

It can go for some time and when you stop and put the ignition on again the light disappears and the cycle continues.

I was told this could be an ATF problem which means either the wrong ATF might have been used on the car.

My car is a mitsubishi lancer cedia year 2002 model 1800cc

Collins

I did an computer check recently and found out that the BARO/MAP sensor was faulty and replaced it immediately as it was also displaying on the check engine on the dashboard.
