Trans problem

Hi its me again and i have a problem with my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES 3.0L V6 Automatic. Driving on the road and cars Rpm went high and the car slowed down. Car is still on but wont move. Checked the fluid level ok . Do the trans need to be replaced or is it something simple to do. Thanks guys.

Guess the trans has breathed its last.

Get a scan done to retrieve for trouble codes and post them here if any found.

It could possibly be a failed torque converter and the trans has to be removed to check.
