engine sounded like a knocking sound

Just replaced my timing belt on my Mitsubishi eclipse spyder the car when turned on rolls back n forth and dont go no where . i just replaced my timing belt within a week time i turned on my car and the engine sounded like a knocking sound and when i put my car in drive the car rolled to the front n back what could possibly be wrong

Compression check it, belrt tensioner or belt may not have been tight enough.
