I put $15 in gas this morning and my gauge did not move what is the cause

FIFTEEN BUCKS BARELY MOVES MINE TOO!

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT MAY HAVE A PROBLEM.......MAYBE SHOOT IN A LITTLE MORE FUEL AND SEE IF IT REGISTERS MORE ON THE GAUGE

The last poster is on the make here, add extra fuel first as $15 would not do much, failing that it will probably be the tank sender unit.
