I backed up in a post with an open door and damaged the alignment, now the door doesn't close and the hood doesn't close anymore. Power windows still working, window glass still intact and no paint damage other than where the hinge area is. Do I need a new door and can the lock mechanism be repaired, how much do you think will it cost to fix the door? Pls. Advice. Thank you

WITHOUT SEEING EXACTLY THE DEFORMITIES IN THE BODY AND HINGE IT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO MAKE ANY CALLS. PICTURES WOULD NOT DO IT JUSTICE EITHER.

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU'LL HAVE TO GET A LOCAL BODY SHOP TO GIVE YOU A BETTER IDEA ON WHAT THE REPAIR MIGHT BE AND COST. YOU MAY HAVE THE OPTION OF USING AUTO SALVAGE YARD PARTS TO MAKE THINGS LESSER EXPENSIVE.

IN MY AREA, ESTIMATES OF THIS SORT ARE FREE AND CAN BE GIVEN RELATIVELY QUICKLY.

I DO SUGGEST YOU GET SEVERAL ESTIMATES, AS ONE PLACE MIGHT EYEBALL A PROBLEM ANOTHER MIGHT MISS.

IF YOU "BACKTRACK" BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU FOUND "JUST THE RIGHT BODY SHOP", YOU CAN ALWAYS POINT OUT THE ISSUE THAT ANOTHER SHOP FOUND.

GOOD LUCK AND LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES
