Air conditioner not blowing out thru the front vents

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable with 143,000 miles on it. My air conditioner all of a sudden quit blowing out the front vents. It will blow thru the defroster vents but not out the front ones. Do you have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

check yur actuators in your heater box there are two, one directs air the other temp. it may be stuck or a vacuum line fell off someplace or if it's electric it may not be getting power.
