We bought the vehicle and the odometer light came on once and then has not came on since. Do I need to replace a fuse or bulb?

I am thinking that this is the back light that illuminates the display, if so the instrument cluster will have to come out and the globe replaced, as a rule you should replace all dash globes when you pull the cluster, then you know all will be ok for some time to come.
