What could be causing hum type noise.

When driving, car makes a hum type noise. The faster you go, the louder the noise. Tires have ben checked. Husband thinks could be a bearing. I can also feel some type of vibration when my foot is on the gas pedal.

-Check the driveaxles and also the wheel bearing -also the brakes could be the rotor is warped
