my lights are flashing allover asudden when I am driving

when I am driving, the overlights will start blinking and flashing randomly.I have checked the fuses and they are all intact, I have looked at all thr bulbs and the are all good. what might be the problem I can't find it.
I took it to he mechanic to see if they can find a problem, but they could not find any, they said all the ground wires are in place and intact.

has to be a momentary shorting of ground i would think. maybe a chafed wire somewhere in that circuit. or at 1 of the light units.
