2002 Mercedes Benz C200 Coolant problem

I got coolant level check visit workshop warning but its fully fill with coolant.And car fan start on engine start and shut down after one minute and then it doesn't start again and car become heat up.

make sure coolant in both the surge tank and radiator are full. otherwise the sensor may have failed giving a wrong indication.
