my steering is very stiff, and the steering oil is well guaged. where do i see car tape booster in the car?

The steering give sound when turning, and very stiff in my hand.

I don't understand oil very well gauged, or tape booster, but stiff steering is due to either a bad pump or a leak causing low oil in the power steering pump.
