Fuel filter is located in fuel tank as an attachment on fuel pump assembly.

Could you tell me where the fuel filter located in my car and how to change it. I was told to try changing this, since my car recently appears to be shakey, something chocking feeling when I stop the car at the light, and runs smoothly when drive. pl. help.

Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, passenger side of brake booster, mounted on firewall relieve fuel pressure then disconnect fuel lines at each end of filter to replace
