My 2002 Millenia jerks a bit when it's accelerating. Whenever I try to accelerate, it jerks for a few seconds and then it starts to accelerate. It starts fine, it just takes time to accelerate because of the jerking.

Also, it has been smelling like burnt rubber after I've been driving and turn the car off.

No, the check engine light has not been on. I just bought the car Wednesday from a used car lot. Should i set up an appointment to get it looked at tomorrow?

Because you mentioned that you smell something burning, I think it would be a good idea. Also, is there a warranty on the vehicle since you just got it?

A tune up is considered general maintenance. Therefore, it isn't covered by a warranty.
