2002 Mazda Millenia Car jerks when accelerating

I have a 02' Mazda millenia. When accelerating my car jerks and has a burnt rubber smell after I've been driving for a while. Can someone please help me figure out what is causing this. Thanks in advance

scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first auto parts rent it. the burnt smell may be oil on exhaust manifold buring off from a leak. have a pro look at that.
