problem with interior door lock button, easy fix?

the door lock button on the centre console partially works. it will unlock the doors but i cant lock them. the key works fine but i would like the button to work too :-)

if you get the new switch, you will see how it mounts. the facia has to come off to gain acess to the switch

so it should just be the switch? not an electrical problem?
