We changed the ECU, engine injector of our sorento and after changing ECU there is no error at all. But the car is automatically turned off after approx 40seconds. Everytime start and turn off after 30- 50 seconds. The problem of the car started after crossing deep river. Ex ECU is out of work after this event. What can be the problem? Can it be crank sensor? 30-50seconds?

When it stalls out does it fire back up with no problem -no hard starting-Being submerged in deep water could cause restriction in the exhaust system-start here

Sometimes starts at the first try sometimes after long time holding the start, and sometimes repeated trial can start the engine. Engine is CRDI. When started it automatically turns off after any time like one minute..

There could be many more electrical issues from the flooding.

any solenoid or motor may be causing issues.

did you change the fuel in the tank as well as every fluid in the car??? absolutely necessary.
