2002 Kia Sedona has a smell of something cooking when running the heat while driving after some time. What could this be and how to fix it?

It could be several things. Coolant can have a sweet smell which could be coming from a leak in the heater core. If it is an electrical smell, check wiring under the dash and under the hood to make sure nothing appears to be overheating.
