2002 Kia Rio Possible trans problem

Bought this car a few weeks ago when the check engine light was on ran fine for a few weeks, today it started rough idling and wont go above 20 with pedal to the metal, unless it's on a straightaway an takes time to get the mph up not exactly sure what's wrong need any advice

scan codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it.

then have it towed to a trans shop they can check it but it kind of sounds like it needs to be rebuilt.

Indeed it does blew 2 of the 4 cylinders sold it for $50 dollars considering thats like a $2000 job
