smell of gas

check flash codes and/or ddec II / III codes (most auto parts stores will do it for free)this will help isolate the problem. suspect problem with purge system . this system purges gas vapor from tank & charcol filter. can be a bad selonoid, loose hose, broken vaccum line ect. don't be discouraged, just vigilant , you'll find it.

p.s. make sure gas cap is tight after filling up. I know this sounds elementary, but a loose cap can inhibit the purge system from doing it's job properly.
