oil pressure drops when I stop , goes back up when I start moving again. does not need oil. could it be the sensor and where is sensor located. It is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cly. It is not 4 wheel drive. Could the Filter need changing? it is about 500 miles over due for oil change.

normally if htis has had regular oil changes this doesn't happen. have a manual oil pressure gauge put on it to see if it's doing the same thing it cold be a wire grounding out or sensor or even gauge.
