2002 Isuzu Axiom stalls when in reverse

My 2002 isuzu axiom will cut on but as soon as i put it in reverse it cuts off. And when i press the gas it jumps. When i shift it to drive it jumps forward without me even pressing the gas. It worked perfectly fine last night! What could this be?
