2002 Hyundai Sonata Wheel bearing

I have a Sonata where the left wheel bearing is making some ginding noise, this has been going on for a while (3-4 mths). Will this cause any further damage to the vehicle if I hold off for another 1-2 mths-or can it possibly cause the wheel to seperate from the car?

the wheel wont' separate but it can sure as hell lock up at speed and cause an accident.if it's making noise it should be replaced.
