power steering on 2002 santa fe , 6cyl

describe your problem...hose near rear of engine has pinhole size leak. hose comes from steering box to ps pump. how to id part and how difficult to replace?

This will be the power steering high pressure hose, there will be a second hose going back to the fluid reservoir correct? Mitchell 1 Data base gives about 1 Hr to do so it can't be all that hard, but as i have not replaced one, i do not know for sure.

if the leak is not at a fitting you may be able to "cap it off" with a small hose clamp? while your waiting to fix it.
