2002 Hyundai Accent Hi There Car Seems Rev Upto 3000rpm Press On Brakes Come

HI there. My car seems to rev up upto 3000rpm when i press on the brakes to come to a full stop. It happens intermittently. I just had my transmission oil changed n battery changed as well a week a ago. It's been happening for a few weeks now even before i had the oil n battery changed. Any ideas? Thanks!
