02 honda crv... retrieve codes?

d light on shifter blinks and sometimes engine light will then come on. Drives and shifts normal.... Is my only option the dealer? Also rattle in dash 60mph and up.

Have it scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system-this is your starting point of diagnosis
