Hello,

Please note that if you have a bad radiator cap it will allow coolant to escape through the overflow tube.

This will happen if the radiator cap is unable to hold the correct pressure. When the coolant leak due to a radiator cap, it will drained through the overflow tube, typically while you are driving at operating temperature and might not leave any mark inside the engine bay.

Perform a pressure test on the cooling system. This will simulate the pressure of the cooling system at operating temperature. It can make finding leak easier.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
