I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX 2 door. I have noticed this winter (live in ohio) that the car is taking a VERY long time to heat up. My heat in the car is working fine, and operating temp is fine too, just noticing when driving at slower speeds, the temp gauge barely comes off of cold.I have yet to see if any one else experienced this problem, but not sure what would cause this. If I start the car to warm it up, the car will blow hot air, but the temp gauge sits on cold. Even when hot air is blowing? Is this a faulty gauge? Or a cooling circulation issue? Any tips or hints of things to check would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Allow engine to run to operating temperature till the cooling fans come on and note the gauge reading. If it is still low, then it is due to an inaccurate reading and you would need to check the sending unit or gauge.
