What can cause knocking from the front drivers side wheel well?

I replaced my brake pads about a week ago. Today when driving my steer started to shake and there was a loud knocking from my front drivers side wheel well. It only knocks when i take my foot off the accelerator. When the car is accelerating or braking there is no shake or knocking.

Inspect the steering knuckle assy/driveaxle/tie rod and the strut assy on that side

Ensure the wheel lug nuts have been torqued correctly.
