I have owned this vehicle for a year. It has 301,000 miles on it. The car will be perfectly fine then I get in the car and go to start it and the dash lights come on and everything then I turn the key to turn it over and nothing, Absolutely nothing. I take the battery cable off for a little while and then hook it back up and boom it starts. I have replaced the battery, ignition switch, have had the starter tested and it's just fine. I have no clue or idea of what the issue is.

Hello,

When it wont start turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds? When you say it wont run do you mean the engine is cranking over (starter working) or the engine crank over but will not run?

Here are two guides to get us started:

and

Please run down these guides and report back.

Yes, the fuel pump kicks on. Everything kicks on like it is suppose to. And by engine runs I mean cranking over the engine wont crank over. It acts like the starter isn't getting any power. But my starter is good.

It sounds like the starter motor is going bad. To be sure here is a guide to help us confirm the the issue:

Please run down this guide and report back. I would get an AC Delco unit for $117.00
