I have Yukon SLT that just replaced the mode acutator on and air stills blows out the defrost vents

when I pluged in the new motor it rotated clockwise and stopped. It will rotate back no matter what the vent selestor is set to.

test the vacuum going to the a/c panel.you have a vacuum leak some thing is leaking.check all the vacuum hoses.

there are no vacuum lines on this model for a/c, it uses dc servo motors to operate the blend door and the fresh/recirculating vents.

Is the dc motor maybe hooked up backwards? That would make the motor turn in reverse.
