what size socket do I need to remove the front hub on a 2002 yukon xl 1500 4x4

Don't know the size of nut. Go to your local autostore, ask if they have the front driveshaft in stock, see it has a nut on it. Get a socket to fit the nut. I have seen situations where the new nut and the old were not the same OD. You see what I mean.
