DO YOU HAVE TOOLS, OTHER THAN THE CHANNEL LOCK PLIERS THAT LEFT THE TOOL MARKS ON THE SQUARE END?

DO YOU HAVE A MECHANICAL BUDDY, WHOM YOU'VE SEEN IN ACTION. HAS A "FEEL" FOR SOMETHING ABOUT TO BREAK, AND WILL STOP. NOT, "I CAN DO IT! I CAN DO IT!", AND THEN BREAK SOMETHING ELSE OFF, AND MAKE THIS A REAL BAD SITUATION?

I CAN GIVE YOU A PROCEDURE THAT MAY WORK---AND ANOTHER THAT "I" MIGHT TRY

OK, IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND SOMETHING--ASK.I DO NOT WANT YOU TELLIN' THE FELLERS THAT CJ MEDEVAC RUINED MY RIDE.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED

1) A FEW "EZ-OUTS" SMALLEST YOU GET WILL TIGHTEN INTO THE HOLE THAT IS STUCK IN YOUR CAR--THEN MAYBE 2 MORE SIZED A LITTLE LARGER----THE LARGER THE EZ-OUT, THE STRONGER IT IS---WE "MAY" DRILL THE HOLE A BIT LARGER, SO A LARGER EZ-OUT CAN BE USED---IS THERE ROOM FOR A DRILL AND BIT IN THERE?

2) DRILL AND APPROPRIATE BITS---ANGLE ADAPTER MIGHT BE A PLUS--I SAW A CHEAP ON AT BIG LOTS

3) A SMALL SET OF REAL "VISE GRIP PLIERS"---WHEN CLOSED, STRAIGHT JAWS WOULD BE BETTER THAN CURVED ONES

4) A PROPANE PLUMBER'S TYPE TORCH---IF IT COMES TO THAT! STILL NOT A BIG DEAL.

IMMA GONNA TAKE A LITTLE BREAK AND WAIT FOR YOUR RESPONSE--BEFORE I TELL YOU HOW TO "EXACTLY" DO THIS. NO JUMPIN' AHEAD OF THE GAME!

I WANT YOU BOTH TO LAY IN THE FLOOR AND HOLD A APPLE, DOOR ****, ETC IN YOUR HAND, UPWARD TOWARD THE CEILING AND "TEST EACH OTHER"---BOTH OF YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO INSURE THE "UN-S. CREWER" KNOWS WHAT "COUNTERCLOCKWISE" MEANS, WHEN VIEWING THE PART THAT IS TO BE EXTRACTED---AS IF YOU WERE LOOKING UP AT IT

DURING THE CRITICAL COMBAT MANEUVER. SOMEONE MUST BE IN CHARGE, AND "SQUARE AWAY" THE OTHER

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW--I HAVE A "GUT FEELING" THE PREVIOUS "UN-.S. CREWER" DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE "RIGHTY-TIGHTY, LEFTY-LOOSEY" CONCEPT AS VIEWED FROM BELOW. JUST PRIOR TO ME HAVING TO ANOTHER STATE TO GET THIS FIXED.I COULD BE WRONG, IT COULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TOO TIGHT TO BEGIN WITH. DEPENDENT ON MY REWARDS, I WILL SWAY TOWARDS THE DIRECTION OF THE HIGHEST BIDDER

I HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS REMOVING BROKEN, RUSTY BOLTS FROM MY '46 WILLYS JEEP, AS I RESURRECTED HIM FROM NOTHINGNESS!

LET ME KNOW HOW YOU END IS GOING. COMPREHENSION FACTOR. ARGUMENTS THIS HAS CAUSED

CAN YA'LL DO, WHAT I AM ABOUT TO EXPLAIN, NOT JUMP AHEAD---AND BUY ME DINNER AT THE OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE WHEN THE MISSION IS COMPLETE?

YOUR TURN

1) IN ORDER TO USE A STRONGER EZ-OUT, LETS GET READY TO DRILL THE HOLE LARGER, BUT NOT AS LARGE AS TO GET INTO THE THREADS--LETS KEEP A LITTLE "MEAT" IN BETWEEN

2)ITEMS LEFT OFF OF MATERIAL LIST, "NUTS" THAT WILL SLIDE OVER THE DRILL BIT. LETS STACK THEM OVER THE BIT, ONLY ALLOWING ENOUGH OF THE BIT TO PROTRUDE TO DRILL THRU THE PART STUCK IN THERE. THESE NUTS ARE YOUR DEPTH LIMITERS. THEY WILL ALSO PREVENT THE BIT FROM GRABBING AND "RUNNING AWAY"

3) DRILL THE HOLE

4) SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO GIVE THE EZ-OUT A LITTLE TAP WITH A HAMMER, TO MAKE IT GRAB THE HOLE!

5) WITH THE VISE GRIPS, GRAB ONTO THE EZ-OUT, AS TIGHT AS YOU CAN GRAB IT

6) THE EZ-OUT WILL ONLY BITE WHEN TURNED IN A CCW DIRECTION AS VIEWED FROM THE BOTTOM

7) PULL HARD, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO BREAK THE EZ-OUT (WITHOUT EVER BREAKING ONE BEFORE, THAT IS A TOUGH CALL)

IF YOU DO BREAK IT OFF, MOST OF THE TIME, IT'S THERE FOREVER. THE EZ-OUT IS HARDENED STEEL. IT WILL NOT DRILL OUT!

8) IF IT AIN'T-A-HAPPENIN'. REMOVE THE EZ-OUT

9) TAKE A NAIL OR SIMILAR ITEM, "PROBE AROUND, BEYOND THE HOLE". IS THERE ANYTHING IN THERE?

LOOK ALL AROUND THE ALUMINUM PART. IS THERE ANYTHING WITHIN 6 INCHES THAT COULD BE DAMAGED BY HEAT? (PLASTICS, ETC)

10) GET A SOAKING WET RAG AND WRAP IT AROUND THE ALUMINUM, 2-3 INCHES ABOVE THE "PART STUCKAGE AREA"

11) TORCH TIME (LET'S NOT GO CRAZY, 30 SECONDS OF HEAT TO START WITH), HERE'S THE PLAN, HEAT ALL AROUND THE ALUMINUM SURROUNDING THE "STUCK PART" THIS WILL EXPAND THE ALUMINUM, THE PART SHOULD GET "LOOSER"QUICKLY INSTALL THE EZ-OUT. PULL. NO LUCK? SNATCH IT OUT. COOL IT IN WATER. HEAT A LITTLE HOTTER. ROTATING AROUND THE ALUMINUM. RE-INSTALL EZ-OUT. TRY AGAIN. REMOVE IT, COOL WITH WATER. WE DO NOT WANT TO OVERHEAT THE EZ-OUT, IT WILL GET WEAK!

12) THAT'S IT----IT SHOULD BE IN YOUR HAND, WITH AN EZ-OUT STICKING OUT OF IT

GOOD LUCK!

LET ME KNOW THE DEAL!

Good News so my wife had been speaking with you on my bad brake of a screw getting broke off in the master cyclinder. I just went and bought a new master cyclinder and replaced and bleed the brakes lines and it was much faster and easier. Thanks for giving my wife some good advice.

PERSONALLY, I LIKE PAPER REPAIR MANUALS. LOTS OF INFO, RIGHT THERE WITH YOU, LOTS OF OTHER INFO YOU SHOULD READ AND DO REGULARLY, GREAT PICS AND DIAGRAMS, STEP X STEP REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS WITH CAUTIONS. YOURS FOREVER!

YOU CAN ALSO "HOW TO", ANYTHING, ON "YOU TUBE"(DIFFERENT SEARCHES HELP TOO).I WOULD STILL USE THE MANUAL, SOME STUFF ON THERE, MIGHT SHOW YOU SOMETHING YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. BE CAREFUL, FILTER THE MATERIAL, INSURE IT LOOKS LEGIT!

NOW ON TO WHAT I WANT TO KNOW THE MOST!

WHERE DID I GO WRONG WITH THE EXTRACTION PROCESS? PLEASE EXPLAIN. MY REPUTATION IS AT STAKE.

I WAS REALLY CHEERING FOR YOU!

I WAS GETTING HUNGRY TOO!

LOOKS LIKE YOU MISSED OUT ON A REAL EXPERIENCE, MAYBE SOMETHING YOU WOULD NEVER FORGET, MAYBE SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THIS

I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE HELPED YOU BETTER. I AM GLAD YOU GOTTER DONE!

YA'LL BRING YOUR FRIENDS BACK, DON'T TEAR YOURS UP AGAIN, JUST TO SEE ME!

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
