When air conditioner is running vehicle will idle around 1500rpm, then drop to 200 rpm continuously. If i shut off ac vehicle idles around 800 rpm.

I have change the idle air control valve twice and each time it solves the problem for about a week. I have been told that there are setting steps to take to get a vehicle to recognize a new sensor is this true?

What do I need to do to get my wife's can running proper? I also have changed isolator bolts and put on a new maf sensor.
